Before design, I was a PM for India's top-selling electric SUV; grew into a strong collaborator and an even better problem solver.
Context
TATA Motors is one of India's most trusted automotive OEMs and the parent company of the legendary Jaguar Land Rover.
Each year, the company produces enough vehicles to fill more than 50 football stadiums, bumper to bumper.
Where do I fit in?
As Lead PM, I drove mid-cycle enhancements for the Nexon EV — India's first and best-selling electric SUV.
It was an exciting and rewarding 2 years contributing to a project at this scale.
Usual bread and butter
Planning, cross-functional collaboration, risk mitigation, and plenty of time spent on the shop-floor among the cars.
Each project required getting at least 10 teams on the same page:

Manufacturing

Reflection
Butterfly effect.
"Back then, I saw firsthand how rerouting a single wiring harness could trigger unexpected issues — from dashboard glitches to delayed assembly. It made me appreciate how those 'small' decisions could shape the entire vehicle experience, a lesson I carry into UX design today, where every micro-interaction matters."
